John Williams’ Legacy: His Greatest Film Scores in One Collection
This album brings together some of John Williams’ most famous film scores, including Star Wars, Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones, and E. T. What makes this selection special is that John Williams conducts his own compositions himself. The recordings were made with the Berlin Philharmonic, the Vienna Philharmonic, and the Recording Arts Orchestra of Los Angeles. The release is complemented by booklet texts by journalist Jon Burlingame. The result is an album that brings together many of the most iconic pieces in film history in a top-notch recording.
