Icelandic singer‑songwriter and producer Laufey announces her much‑anticipated third studio album, “A Matter of Time”.
Following the cinematic romance of Bewitched (2023), this new record finds Laufey turning the pages of her own life diary into song. As she explains, “I’ve taken my diary and turned it into an album of songs, delving into the whole range of emotions — from the beautiful to the ugly — that one experiences as life and love unfold in time”
Recorded with an eye for warm, acoustic textures and thoughtful orchestration, A Matter of Time promises to chart the bittersweet arc of growing up and opening one’s heart. Fans of her previous work — from the Top 20 success of ‘Bewitched’ to her celebrated live collaborations — will recognize Laufey’s charismatic blend of jazz‑inspired melodies and intimate storytelling.
The Timeless Blue vinyl edition includes a 12″ circular insert, a bonus 7″ vinyl and a note from Laufey. The 7″ vinyl is hidden inside the left pocket of the gatefold, but you have to reach through from the right side, since the left side is sealed.
